You can view his favourite new tracks he picked for this week along with some artist/track information below!

Joshua Coase’s Tracks Of The Week

CHVRCHES fans rejoice, the synth-pop band from Glasgow are back!

Not only are they back with a brand new single Get Out, they have also announced that they are working on their third studio album.

Love Is Dead will be out later this year and if it is just half as good their previous albums The Bones Of What You Believe and Every Open Eye then we’re in for a treat!

The group did an interesting announcement for the release of the new single, encouraging fans to add them on Facebook Messenger so they were informed as soon as the track was released.

Get Out is a synth pop track which adheres to the CHVRCHES sound we know and love, with Lauren Mayberry’s distinctive vocals leading this fine pop track.

Audio Dope – Pai Me

Audio Dope - Pai Mei

On the show I have been very keen to feature instrumentals track as much as possible to add variety and showcase that tracks can be equally as strong and appreciated as those which contain lyrics.

Audio Dope experiments with beats from 90s hip-hop, trip-hop, electronica and lo-if hip-hop and has released this track under the Majestic Records label.

He has just released his self-titled debut album this week, make sure you check it out on Spotify, Apple Music or other streaming platforms.

Along with this track, Floating, Thamiam and All Right are a selection of my favourites.

Chromeo – Bedroom Calling Feat. The-Dream

Chromeo - Bedroom Calling Feat. The-Dream

Chromeo are an Canadian electro-funk duo from Montreal, Canada and have marked their return to the music scene with this catchy collaboration with The-Dream.

I am a big fan of their 2010 album Business Casual, which featured their best hit in my opinion: Don’t Turn The Lights Off.

Their music is very much inspired by Daft Punk and you can certainly hear those influences in this track.

This is the latest single to be taken off of their upcoming fifth studio album: Head Over Heels.

Mija – Notice Me

Mija - Notice Me

Amber Giles, AKA Mija, is an electronic producer/DJ from Arizona, USA.

Mija first became known following a collaboration with Skrillex in 2014, but the instrumentation in Notice Me is a stark contrast to what you would hear in his tracks!

This is her latest track which first premiered on the Majestic Casual YouTube channel and her EP is set to be released this coming Friday, February 9th.

AWOLNATION - Here Come the Runts

American alternative rock band AWOLNATION are famous for their 2011 hit Sail, which peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This song, Handyman, is a complete contrast to that track, much slower and stripped back, and it’s very catchy!

This track is taken from their brand-new album which was released last Friday: Here Come the Runts.

Their North American and European Tour kicks off on February 11th.

Pale Waves – The Tide

Pale Waves - The Tide

Pale Waves have been providing me with my indie pop rock fix throughout 2017 during The 1975’s absence (roll on the release of Music For Cars this summer).

They are an up and coming band from Manchester and first caught my attention with the release of their debut single last February, There’s A Honey.

Signed to the same label, Dirty Hit Records, it has been a breakthrough year for this band from Manchester, who previously featured on this show with their singles New Year’s Eve and My Obsession.

The band formed three years ago and describe their sound as “honest pop music” and I am looking forward to the release of their debut album in 2018.

Vance Joy – Saturday Sun

Vance Joy - Saturday Sun

Australian singer-songwriter James Gabriel Wanderson Keogh, AKA Vance Joy, is back and despite being an active artist since 2013 he is only just releasing his second album later this month.

His debut album: Dream Your Life Away, released back in September 2014 topped the album charts in Australia.

Saturday Sun is a very happy, positive, early summer vibes track, getting us ready to welcome in the sunshine in the coming months.

His new album: Nation of Two, will be released on 23rd February.

Lilla Vargen – Believe Me

Lilla Vargen - Believe Me

Rebekah Lutton, AKA Lilla Vargen is an up and coming singer-songwriter from Northern Ireland and I have featured several of her tracks on the New Music Monday show on Nerve Radio in the past.

She has a wonderful voice and is certainly an artist to watch out for in the future, already making waves in the industry having twice been featured on the New Music Friday playlist on Spotify and on the Majestic Casual YouTube channel.

I had the pleasure of interviewing her back in November and you can listen to my full radio broadcast here.

Believe Me is another brilliant track and a real testament to her talents, I look forward to hearing more material from her!

Joshua Coase’s Album/EP Of The Week

Rae Morris – Someone Out There

Rae Morris - Someone Out There

Rachel Anne Morris, AKA Rae Morris is a singer-songwriter from Blackpool, UK.

Her debut album: Unguarded, went to number nine in the UK album charts.

This new album really caught my attention after I head the title track, it was an instant contender to play on the show.

The rest of the record also stands up to the quality of Someone Out There, with Atletico (Only One), Push Me To My Limit and Do It proving to be very catchy, feel-good pop songs.

Other Albums To Check Out This Week

Audio Dope – Audio Dope

AWOLNATION – Here Come the Runts

Justin Timberlake – Man of the Woods
